Project: 30 Day Journal Challenge

As I mentioned last week I'm going to for this month post the 30 day Journal Challenge pages that I've done.  I've tried to stick to a similar theme throughout the journal, especially with using an ink pen as my writing is quite small and this helps it to stand out and be quite fun.  Anyway I hope that they are all in place now as the journal is on its way.

Day 2: What is the BEST part of your day? Is it working out? Is it "quitting time" at work? Is it dinner with the family? What is it? You can write about it, draw it, sketch it, doodle it, anything you like!
Day 2
I also decided to add What is the Worst part of your day for this one too.

Day 3: It's always nice to share with someone why you love them. Today, I want you to draw a picture, doodle, sketch, of a person who you love, or admire. Then, write that person a letter telling them why they mean so much to you! If you are intimidated at the idea of drawing a portrait of someone, draw objects that represent that person or draw their name in a creative way
Day 3
You knew I'd choose her for this one of course!

Day 4: What does your heart look like? It can be literal, it can be symbolic, it can be broken and need fixing...anything!
day4
Letters, crafts, sweet things, chattering, sunny, music on my mind, day dreaming, broken, disappointed, tired and empty....

Day 5: This page is dedicated to your favorite blogs!! What are they? Are there any blogs that you can't go a day without checking?
Day 5
These are all fantastic blogs worth following, I have of course since doing this page added many more to my favourites. A lot I lost when blogger decided to get rid of all blogs not part of it in my following list but recently lately I realised I can add them all back again, I don't understand the point of that... Why not leave it as it is in the first place? I've tried to add a little picture of what I've picked up from your blogs in the time I've followed them. Some I've been following for years but have hardly ever commented.... so a silent stalker. Since doing this page, I've been making an effort to comment too.
Day 6: It's time... It's definitely time to do something. It may be a new season for you in your life, or a time to make some goals, or it may just be time to relax (because it's Saturday right?). Draw something that represents the word time and then make a list of things that you need to do at this time in your life, or day, or week
Day 6
Day 7: Today is an easy one... How are you feeling today? Sometimes it's really good to reflect on your feelings and try to figure out why you are feeling a certain way.
Day 7
Day 8: Today, I want you to illustrate an "inside joke." I want this to be a page that only you and a few other people would get. Inside jokes are always fun (well, when you are a part of them I guess).
Day8
I really could not think of an 'inside joke' to share here, I now think that maybe I should have shared just a couple of jokes in general. Never mind!

I hope that you have enjoyed these entries so far.
Are you working on a project at the moment?

  1. Thanks for sharing your journal! It looks like great fun!
I think it's a good way to keep track of how your life is at this very moment - it might be interesting to do the same journal in a few years and check back to see what stayed the same and what changed.
I'm not working on any project at the moment (except for if you count "survive at university"), but I'd like to do a journal about a trip I'm going to take this summer :)

    1. Thats true I never thought of it like that, so I may consider thinking about those questions in a couple of years.

Its quite hard to start projects but I'm determined to for now do one a month but it might not work like that if I can't think of new ideas.

  3. What a great project! It's great to respond to these type of questions and then to look back at who you were in the future. I am going to try this out too. Plus it gives me a great reason to use a new journal and decorate it!

  6. Looking at your journal pages is so, so inspiring. Now I wish I would have joined this challenge as well. It's too bad. Maybe I can do it in July? :) Seeing your journal has actually inspired me to pick up my sketch book more often again. :)

    1. I'm glad it was worth coming back to view some more of my journal. I almost didn't do it either as I was taking part in a photo a day on instagram but because I've wanted to do one I couldn't resist so I'm glad I did :). I'm sure you'll have fun when you do yours.
