Project: Lovely Letters (Optional Package) #2

This time I'm here to share what my partner sent me as part of my optional package. My older brother picked it up from the sorting office this morning along with a package of his own otherwise I would have had to wait until Saturday to get it if the weather was right to travel otherwise I would have had to wait until Wednesday! So I'm glad I didn't have to. Anyway are you ready to see what's inside? I'm sure you are anxious to see what I've been getting lately....

On receiving this box I wondered if the contents inside was the same as the picture on the box which I have to admit wouldn't have been my thing so I was a little relieved to see this...

After seeing this contents I decided to wait until I came back from work to open them all which is was very hard to do but I wanted to take my time and appreciate what I received... It's really funny as I had wanted to wrap my presents in brown paper and write little comments on each one but I felt rushed for time with having agreed to send it out that week so stuck to wrapping paper. I've always loved this idea when seeing it on various blogs. That rubber duck tape is so cute and totally my thing... I looked all over for rubber ducks when my niece was born and now they are all over the place.

As you can see I got totally spoiled and I'm really loving the neon range lately and wish that I could get away with wearing it. There isn't a thing that I don't like or can't use even though my niece has pinched the penguin earrings and was insisting on wanting the fluffy owl pen but I didn't let her keep that as she had a Disney Princess one like it which means there are only so many that she can use.

I came across Dr.Seuss 'Oh! The Places You'll Go!' book which I loved but most of all the idea that goes with it which was to get the adults teaching your child to sign it at the end of the school year with something inspirational. Since then I've done my Project: Inspiration and have come across so many of Dr.Seuss quotes which I loved them all but there are still many that I haven't liked this one... The card that I received in the photos above this one I will turn in to a little book as it seems as shame to give it away. I'm now working on a project for my niece with Dr.Seuss quotes which I'll give to her when she's a lot older.

Also even though I have a whole sheet of rubber stamp clocks. I think you will see a lot of these stamps on my projects as they are the right size but also look great. I can't wait to create something with them.

Postcard sized Neon card... amazingly amazing! I only tend to use white so this will be so much fun to use colour in some form. I actually have a project I wanted to do this month but with not being well haven't got around to it but now I've got no excuse. Maybe I was just waiting for these to arrive!
I can think of lots of fun things I can do with these pens, I just love coloured pens! Then again what stationery don't I love!

Such fun! My next snail mail project should be this Valentine Handmade Card Swap! I'm already looking forward to it. Do you think you'll take part in it?

Project: Lovely Letters

Can you believe that this is the last of my lovely letters, its quite disappointing but I hope there is another one of these to happen next year as I quite looked forward to seeing what my partner did with the tasks.

My partner sent me quite a few bits and pieces of craft supplies so I decided to use those to create some writing paper to write a letter to her on. This is what I came up with...
UntitledUntitledUntitledUntitled
She also sent me 2 notecards which I thought would be fun to fill in and send to her along with a postcard full of my quirks...
Untitled and my gift was a Hello Kitty Notebook and I wrapped it in Hello Kitty Wrapping paper. Untitled

As always I hope my partner liked it.

Today I received a package from my partner... I love the airmal sticker...

Project: Lovely Letters

I can't believe we only have one more task to go I'm sure I will miss it when its over but I'm sure I'll move on to something else. This time I've gone for a cat theme....
#pallette #cat #french #paris #letterset #letter
I answered my 10 questions from task 2 using my rubber stamps and hello kitty paper and also I listed my 10 favourite things through a collage as I wanted to do things a little differently...
UntitledUntitled
My favourites in no order with still a little bit of a cat theme to it... 1.Photography 2.Music 3. Desserts/Sweets/Candy 4.Crafts 5.Seaside/nautical theme 6. Books 7. Fruits/Vegetables 8. Letters and Package 9. Stationery 10. Leaves Of course there are so many other things that I like so but it said only 10!
UntitledUntitled
I included in my envelope some envelopes from my last letter set and the one I used this time. My friend told me that in Portugal on the 11th November its a national holiday for chestnuts which is quite fascinating. In the UK its not a national holiday but its Remembrance day where people wear a poppy to remember the soldiers that have fought the war since WW1 and we also have a minute silence. As I put some money in the charity pot at the supermarket I was forced to take a poppy which was handy as I posted it to my friend. I also posted some postcards/leaflet on the industrial side of Bradford which I'm sure house many cats!
UntitledUntitled
I used my Halloween Cat set to decorate the envelope and it was a perfect time with Halloween being around the corner at that time. I used my stripy tape around the edge which made it look even better and brighter.

Today I received my envelope from my partner....
Untitled
Inside were the answers to my 10 questions, a favourite list and some goodies....
Untitled UntitledUntitledUntitled
1. A cute birdie ATC which I love 2. Buttons: I haven't crafted with that much this year but I am a huge button fan especially the plain ones and lastly lots of mixed items to craft with which are wonderfully colourful and fun. I can't wait to use them at some point :).

Have you received any great packages lately?

Project: Lovely Letters

It is that time again to show you my latest lovely letter. One of the things that my partner said she liked was books so I had to use one of my Alice in Wonderland sets but which one do I use was the question....
Choosing a book theme set but which one shall I write on? #alice #aliceinwonderland #silhouette #letterset #heart #spades #diamonds #club #book #character
I ended up choosing the last one because it didn't just have Alice in Wonderland but also Little Red Riding Hood, Wizard of Oz and Snow White... might as well get really in to the Fairy Tale theme I guess. I also realised that I had two of the first set so I'm offering one on my other blog Make My Day, if you haven't done already maybe you'd like to have the chance of getting it by shouting Make My Day!
I've chosen this one as it is #aliceinwonderland #wizardofoz #littleredridinghood and #snowwhite definately fits in with a book theme #stickers #letterset #decotape #silhouette
The writing paper is pretty plain in design and colour considering how much could have been done with these themes and I do find these sets quite boring but my writing looks great on them. I tend to use coloured pens, tapes and stickers anyway so it soon makes things look more cheerful.
To fit in with my #aliceinwonderland letter sets. I do really need some old book pages though. #envelope #washitape #rubberstamp #stickers #rabbit #key #teacup #cupcake #teaparty
I decorated my envelope to match the theme of Alice in Wonderland, even the book page matches as its about Guilotines and the Queen of Hearts wanted everyones heads chopped off.

I continued with the book theme by sending a booklet about Bradford, a leaflet on Haworth where the Bronte sisters grew up and wrote their books. As its a world heritage place its like stepping back in time. Also I included a postcard of the Wool Exchange which has a few shops in its building but majority of the building is occupied by Water Stones which is a book shop.
Untitled
Even though my letter wasn't as long as last time and I had plenty of sheets to continue writing on I decided to do my 2nd task on the Wizard of Oz letter pad a friend sent me as it fitted in so well. I have to admit though that I really struggled with my 10 questions as I wanted them to be fun and challenging without the usual style of 'What's your favourite colour etc?....

Today I received my partners letters....
UntitledUntitledUntitled
Its funny how my partner thought to use an Alice in Wonderland theme on her envelope too and it looks great. The stamps I loved and she included a few goodies.

Here are the 10 questions for me to answer which I'll send with my next letter.
