Project: Stamp Scavenger Hunt ~Red and Word~

Day 9: Red

Well I didn't think a person could get anymore red then this. I almost didn't get the stamp range as Royal Mail sent me Jane Austen stamps by accident. They were so wonderful and let me keep them and sent me this set too which was slightly cheaper. It was so nice as it makes it worth while having spent a fortune on mail all these years and hopefully many more to come.

 

Day 10: Word

I choose this for the building topic and then realised it had the word Kursaal on it so had to pick something else. Having now posted this stamp on here I've just noticed there are people in the entrance way.

 

I'm really going to have to do some serious searching through my envelopes tomorrow for the different shape themed as I've never come across U.K stamps that are any other shape but Rectangle and Square.

Project:Take Some Love

I saw this on someones blog and decided to do my own version. Being me though it can never be simple. I started with just the love along the bottom but it looked plain so I added the hearts and then decided to add the feel good words....

1. Disabled Toliet door 2. A sculpture 3. ATM machine (someone has taken one) 4. Handmade in Bradford Door.

5. A lift 6. The bus 7. A pillar 8. I asked my older brother if he'd let me put it in his car but he said no... I thought he'd be up for it. I now need to leave one more.

The final one at a parking meter.

 

I had wanted to make 10 but mis-calculated when creating them and decided that actually 8 would be plenty. I may make some of a different design later.

 

I've put my e-mail address on the back of each strip since I had created one for last time so maybe this time I'll get people getting in touch.

If I do what type of e-mail do you think I should leave in return? Something to do with love and maybe a quote do you think?

Project: Inspiration

I think I may have left two envelopes together in one of the last couple of photos because I have no idea where I left this one and I would have had a photograph if I had left it anywhere. So this one is somewhere out in the world but I've no idea where.....

I have created one last envelope which hopefully I shall leave somewhere today to take it up to 31 days but my mind keeps thinking of new places to leave an envelopes so I may keep a list and when I think of another 30 or 31 places then I'll do it all over again.

Have you ever had a memory lapse as to what you have done with something and for the life of you it never comes back to you... what was it?

Project:Inspiration

I had the idea in mind of leaving an envelope in the perfume section of Boots but when the time came there were just so many people wondering around that I decided not to and left it on a shelf of cosmetics. I get the feeling it will be some time before it is discovered as this one when I walked passed on the other side of the window it just looked part of the display.

Since doing this project its really made me realise that I need to get on to a calligraphy course to understand how to do better writing as its one of the struggles I've had with this project, my writing just annoys me.

I have however in some cases at least been able to draw my own pictures and this is one of them. I've never drawn birds before and for a first attempt I like everything but the legs, I've no idea what I've done wrong with those.
